E-logic is looking for a Senior Project Engineer to oversee the engineering, design enhancement, and system integration efforts for ATC's specialized testing capabilities. You will apply extensive technical knowledge toward production planning, material control, and custom instrumentation assembly (including COTS integration, custom PCBs, cabling, and mechanical enclosures). This role bridges the gap between complex engineering concepts and practical, low-quantity manufacturing. This position will be remote. However, the candidate must be available to travel to Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) facilities in Maryland upon Government request for meetings, briefings, or on-site collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee requirements planning, materials planning/control, and production scheduling for custom designs and prototyping.
  • Direct and supervise the activities of engineering team members (including hardware fabricators and software developers).
  • Lead systems engineering initiatives, including research, Analysis of Alternatives (AoA), and concept designs for test facility innovations.
  • Ensure all engineering outputs--such as Altium PCB designs, SolidWorks models, and software (C++, Python, MATLAB, etc.)--comply with strict technical standards and cybersecurity regulations.
  • Align designs with commercial or military standards (e.g., MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-1472).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a Science or Engineering discipline.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in project engineering.
  • Skills: Deep understanding of instrumentation/test systems, production planning, and manufacturing enhancement. Thorough familiarity with harsh-environment design constraints (vibration, shock, electromagnetic interference) is highly desired.
  • Note: The Senior Project Engineer may dual-serve as the Project Manager if they meet the specific qualifications for both roles.

Important Notice:

This role is part of a proposal for U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center (ATC). Hiring is contingent upon the selection of the consultant. Selected candidates will be included in the proposal and must authorize the use of their resume for submission.
