    Description

    Scott Humphrey has partnered with a large and reputable general contractor to assist in finding a Project Engineer and Senior Project Engineer for their headquarters in St. Louis, MO. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be an integral part of a team that oversees the construction of commercial and special project new construction; project quality control, subcontractor coordination, daily logs/project documentation, safety, and inspections.ResponsibilitiesSupport the Project Manager and Superintendent in overall project executionAssist with updating project schedules and communicating changes to subcontractors and OwnersLearn and apply basic knowledge of project financials, including cost books and change ordersReview and assist with the development of subcontracts and subcontractor change ordersManage administrative project tasks including RFIs, submittals, and pricing/change order supportGain exposure to contract language and Owner requirementsDevelop solutions to improve project performance and executionUnderstand and support compliance with company and project-specific quality standardsCommunicate consistently with internal teams, subcontractors, and key external stakeholdersPromote and support a zero-incident safety culture through understanding of OSHA and company protocolsMentor project interns and contribute to a collaborative team environmentRequirementsBachelor's degree in construction management, or related fieldMinimum of 2 years of progressive project management experience in commercial construction GCStrong knowledge of contract terms, cost management, scheduling, and construction processesFamiliarity with scheduling software, Microsoft Office Suite, and construction document managementExcellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilitiesSeniority levelAssociateEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionProject ManagementIndustriesStaffing and Recruiting, Construction, and Building Construction#J-18808-Ljbffr
