Senior Project Engineer

Our client is one of the largest and most respected General Contractors in the Midwest, recognized for delivering complex, high-profile construction projects across commercial, healthcare, industrial, mission critical, higher education, multifamily, and mixed-use sectors.

Job Description

Manage and monitor construction project schedules to ensure timely completion. Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to meet project goals. Oversee quality control and compliance with safety standards. Prepare and review project documentation, including budgets and reports. Resolve any project-related challenges or issues as they arise. Support the project team in delivering high-quality outcomes. Ensure effective communication across all project participants. Analyze project progress and recommend improvements when needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Project Engineer should have: Experience in the construction industry with a focus on project management. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Familiarity with construction safety standards and compliance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams. Proficiency in project management tools and software. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
