Senior Project Engineer – Structural Steel – Norwalk, CT

You’ll step into a leadership role on structural steel projects, handling technical oversight, cost reporting, and documentation while preparing for advancement into Project Management.

What you’ll be working on (and more)

  • Take ownership of project controls on structural steel projects.

  • Manage safety compliance, submittals, RFIs, and QC/QA.

  • Oversee CPM schedules and project closeout.

What you’ll do day-to-day

  • Track and report project costs.

  • Manage submittals, RFIs, and document control.

  • Ensure compliance with steel codes and safety requirements.

  • Assist PMs in planning and execution of project scope.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering or Construction Management.

  • 5+ years experience in construction with structural steel.

  • Valid Driver’s License.

  • Familiarity with HCSS HeavyJob, Vista, CAD, and P6 preferred.
