Senior Project Engineer, Substation Engineering

This role sits within Exos Substation Engineering group, responsible for designing the substations that anchor and protect the transmission system. Youll work across disciplines to deliver safe, clear, and high-quality engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities Perform complex design and analysis independently. Conduct engineering and design using engineering software and internal tools. Design major and unique projects. Lead large teams, major projects, and programs of projects. Coordinate scope, schedule, and budget with project manager. Communicate effectively with team members to achieve project objectives. Participate in project meetings. Consult clients, vendors, and other project stakeholders. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced staff. Lead business development and proposal development. Participate within the industry. Confirm design work is produced following quality procedures. Ensure designs meet client standards, safety, design code, constructability, and cost-efficiency requirements.
