Pay Rate: $65 - $70 per hour

Position Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of a large, technically complex Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiative. This is a high-visibility opportunity for a proven project delivery leader who can work effectively across technology, product, data, operations, risk, and business teams.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience managing complex technical projects, thrives in cross-functional environments, and can translate strategic objectives into structured execution plans and measurable outcomes. Experience with AI, automation, data, analytics, or emerging technologies is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of a large-scale technical AI project.
• Own project scope, schedule, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, resources, and delivery outcomes.
• Partner with AI, Data, Engineering, Product, Risk, Operations, and Business stakeholders to establish priorities and maintain alignment.
• Identify and proactively resolve delivery risks, blockers, cross-functional dependencies, and competing priorities.
• Apply Agile, hybrid, or other project delivery methodologies based on project needs and organizational standards.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, delivery roadmaps, project schedules, and milestone tracking.
• Prepare executive-level status reporting, project updates, and presentations highlighting progress, risks, decisions, and key outcomes.
• Maintain RAID logs, risk and issue registers, dependency trackers, decision logs, and other project governance artifacts.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings, drive accountability, and ensure action items and decisions are clearly documented and followed through.
• Build strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders while maintaining focus on delivery, quality, and measurable results.
• Coordinate project activities from initial planning through implementation and final delivery.

Required Skills/Education

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• PMP certification is required.
• Proven experience managing large, complex technical projects or programs from planning through execution and delivery.
• Experience working with AI, Artificial Intelligence, automation, data, analytics, machine learning, or emerging technology initiatives strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of Agile and/or hybrid project management methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders across technology and business functions.
• Strong skills in project planning, roadmap development, risk management, issue management, dependency management, and project governance.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, organization, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, technically complex environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar platforms preferred.
