The Opportunity:

As a Senior Project Manager with CACI, you will play a central role in driving mission and contract success by leading the full lifecycle of critical projects and coordinating closely with the RADE Technical Program Manager. You will manage project scope, develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules, and synchronize efforts across multiple Task Order areas to ensure timely delivery of technical solutions. This position offers the opportunity to demonstrate strong leadership, organizational skills, and resource management while ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards. You will contribute to continuous improvement, stakeholder satisfaction, and long‑term organizational growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, requirements, and baselines for short‑ and long‑term efforts from initiation through closeout.
  • Develop and manage Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using MS Project.
  • Build comprehensive Project Management Plans and coordinate stakeholder alignment.
  • Direct project execution through resource‑loaded schedules and manage personnel and financial resources within a matrixed organization.
  • Work with Functional Managers to identify and allocate project team resources.
  • Organize, prioritize, and schedule work assignments to meet all deliverables, milestones, and contract obligations.
  • Oversee cost, schedule, and performance to meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Conduct Earned Value Management (EVM), Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA), and partner with Cost Account Managers to track metrics and develop Estimates to Complete (ETCs).
  • Perform critical path analysis, progress tracking, what‑if analyses, and develop contingency plans.
  • Lead risk management activities to identify, track, and mitigate risks, opportunities, and issues.
  • Manage change processes and communicate impacts to schedule or budget.
  • Lead IPT and status meetings to ensure team clarity on tasks, deliverables, and success measures.
  • Brief management and Requirements Owners on status, action items, and progress.
  • Develop periodic progress reports and project presentations.
  • Document lessons learned at project closeout to support organizational knowledge transfer.
  • Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies as appropriate to improve delivery and adaptability.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • US Citizenship and an active TS or TS/SCI clearance.
  • PMP certification.
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of project planning/management experience (or equivalent).
  • Strong familiarity with MS Project IMS development.
  • 5+ years of program financial management (P&L, MR, ROS) and EVM techniques.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and experience working with diverse teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to change, and operate effectively in dynamic environments.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and understanding of customer policies, processes, and mission needs.
  • Highly mission‑oriented with demonstrated initiative, creativity, and independence.

Desired:

  • Experience managing electronics product development (hardware, firmware, software).
  • Experience with GitLab, Confluence, SharePoint, or similar tools.
  • Prior success leading matrixed or geographically distributed teams.
  • Familiarity with WAN technologies, service management practices, DoD/DOE contracts, ROM estimates, and federal acquisition frameworks.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
