Description
Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple complex projects ensuring successful outcomes.
- Ensure smooth handover to customer service and the external customer with clearly defined and agreed-upon actions for project close-out.
- Conduct detailed project assessments, collect lessons learned, and prepare final close-out reports.
- Manage project risks and opportunities, including risk mitigation strategies and actions with appropriate risk owners.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and clients, placing remarkable emphasis on customer needs and consistently achieving desired outcomes.
- Develop comprehensive project schedules for engineering installation and integration tasks.
- Lead cross-functional teams within a matrixed global organization, applying influence to ensure risk mitigation for scope, cost, and schedule.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelors degree or Masters in Engineering (MBA preferred).
Experience
- Minimum 8 years with a Bachelors degree or 6 years with a Masters degree in project management.
- Proven track record managing projects in the material handling, AGV (Automated Guided Vehicles), or automotive industry is required.
Skills
- Advanced project management and leadership abilities.
- Proven problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities.
- Understanding of equipment subsystem and system performance criteria and the constraints associated with material handling systems.
- Knowledge of WMS and WCS integration controls architectures and functionality of controls domains.
- Strong financial acumen, risk management expertise, and familiarity with supply chain processes.
Preferred Knowledge
- Understanding of IATF 16949 requirements.
- Mastery of Automotive Core Tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC.
Certifications
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent advanced certifications preferred.
Language
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin; additional language skills beneficial.
