Our Client, a Commercial Finance company, is looking for a Senior Project Manager for their Remote  location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Plans and coordinates closely with business/function area managers and cross functional subject matter experts and key project team members to drive project activities and issue resolution.
  • Ensures that project activities are on a path to deliver benefits realization.
  • Installs an appropriate risk management plan for the project and ensures adherence to company and unit requirements.
  • Follow client PMLC methodology, risk management routines, and project governance activities (working closely with Risk Program Portfolio Lead and Lead Business partners).
  • Proactively works to engage key stakeholders to understand and mitigate any cross-team concerns/differences and leads group discussions to develop a resolution path to keep project activities on-schedule with appropriate risk mitigation.
  • Leads teams or multiple teams of internal and/or external resources on a project basis.
  • Manages project budget forecast and actuals in accordance with finance and reporting routines and methodologies.
  • Creates, maintains, analyzes and collectively manages variances to the project schedules and makes recommendation and/or creates action plan to mitigate negative variances or to resolve issues.
  • Prepares dashboard reporting to identify and communicate the health of the project for use by key executives (in alignment with existing project governance routines).
  • Prepares documentation/presentations to support overall workstream efforts and internal reporting routines, as needed
  • Proactively engages key stakeholders to plan, manage, and risk mitigate key items and critical path activities.
  • Technical Coordination / Support. 
  • Provide hands-on support to delivery teams (tracking deliverables, coordinating SMEs, ensuring follow-through). 
  • Support issue resolution, defect tracking, and backlog management. 
  • Assist with environment coordination, releases, and readiness activities
  • Assist in the identification of change introduced by the project and coordinated with appropriate teams for planning and executing on ""readiness"" plans:  Client Communications, Teammate Communications, and Teammate Training. "           
 
Requirements:
  • Experienced in driving complex finance projects with large internal and vendor resource teams, through all phases of a tech development lifecycle.
  • Experience in Regulatory Reporting, in particular related to capital and asset reporting.
  • Financial institution transformative program and/or project management experience. 
  • Proven ability to effectively manage complex projects and initiatives, including multiple business partners across different areas as well as large / complex data sets; demonstrated organization skills.
  • Proven stakeholder relationship building skills to engage and drive cross team collaboration at the project member and senior management stakeholder levels.  Ability to communicate project status with equal effectiveness at all leadership and team member levels from both a project execution and business progression terms. 
  • Ability to create and drive multiple project/workstream schedules in parallel."                
  • Backgound in Accounting and Finance as either a business unit stakeholder or project management role with experience regulatory reporting.
  • Experience with Risk Weighted Assets and related regulatory reporting.
  • Experience with AxiomSL Reg Reporting solutions, Agile / hybrid delivery models, ServiceNow, Jira, Clarity, or similar tools.
  • Prior experience with system and user acceptance test planning activities.
  • Experience with data strategy development and execution.
  • PMP certification.
  • Ability to translate conversations with process owners and stakeholders into effective strategic plans, project objectives, and schedules to achieve expected project outcomes.
