Senior Project Manager

Location: Auburn, CA
Duration: 5 Months

Responsibilities:

• Exercise judgment and discretion in managing all aspects of assigned projects.
• Provide a single point of contact for projects, ensuring objectives are achievable.
• Guide engineering teams in producing complex risk and alternative analyses, studies, and conceptual designs.
• Oversee and administer EPC contracts in accordance with the ESC Work Oversight Committee.
• Negotiate third-party contracts, supporting other departments as appropriate.
• Develop and champion company-wide best practices.
• Make presentations to company officers as needed.
• Arbitrate and resolve conflicts within the project.
• Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced project managers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent in education and experience.
• 8 years of experience in project management, project controls, engineering, and/or construction if within the company; 9 years if outside hire.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and maintenance required for new entrants.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of land acquisition, CPUC and environmental permitting, and EPC contracting procedures.
• Superior ability to interface with and across supporting organizations and conduct formal presentations to officers.
