Project Planning & Execution

· Plan, execute, and close building automation and controls projects in accordance with contract documents, schedules, and budgets.

· Develop detailed project schedules coordinating engineering, programming, panel fabrication, installation, commissioning, and turnover.

· Define project scope, deliverables, milestones, and success criteria in collaboration with sales, engineering, and operations teams.

· Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.

Technical & Engineering Coordination

· Coordinate with controls engineers, programmers, and technicians on system architecture, control strategies, and sequence of operations.

· Review submittals, control drawings, points lists, and sequences for completeness and alignment with project scope.

· Serve as the primary technical liaison between the company, customers, consulting engineers, and contractors.

· Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and applicable codes.

Financial & Contract Management

· Track project costs, labor hours, material usage, and change orders to maintain profitability.

· Prepare and manage change order documentation, pricing, and approvals.

· Monitor project cash flow, invoicing, and billing milestones.

· Identify scope gaps, risks, and opportunities early and implement corrective actions.

Field & Installation Oversight

· Coordinate installation activities with field technicians, electricians, and subcontractors.

· Conduct jobsite meetings and maintain communication with general contractors and trade partners.

· Resolve field conflicts, design discrepancies, and installation challenges.

· Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with company and site safety policies.

Commissioning & Turnover

· Oversee system checkout, functional testing, commissioning, and performance verification.

· Coordinate system integration with third-party systems such as HVAC equipment, lighting, access control, and metering.

· Ensure proper documentation, as-built drawings, and O&M manuals are completed and delivered.

· Manage customer training, system demonstrations, and final project acceptance.

Customer & Stakeholder Communication

· Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.

· Provide regular project updates, schedule forecasts, and issue resolution.

· Address customer concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement

· Ensure projects meet company quality standards and customer expectations.

· Support standardization of project execution, documentation, and best practices.
