Senior Project Manager- Branch Platform Modernization

Title: Senior Project Manager
Location: Chicago, IL or Naperville, IL
Pay Rate: $70-80/hr on W2.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (approximately 2 days onsite per week)

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead delivery activities for a large-scale branch technology modernization initiative focused on transforming the user experience for frontline banking employees. This role will support a strategic, multi-year program designed to replace legacy branch workstation technology and modernize teller and banker platforms across approximately 900 retail banking branches.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Branch banking, teller systems, banker desktop applications, or branch operations technology - 5-10 years of experience.
• Retail Banking Application modernization/transformation - 5+ years of experience.
• Project management - 5-10 years of experience.
• Branch Platform Modernization - 2+ years of experience.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working with branch workstation platforms.
• Experience with teller applications and banker desktop solutions.
• Experience leading pilot deployments and large-scale branch rollouts.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience working in highly regulated banking environments.
• Familiarity with user-centered design and digital employee experience transformations.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of application modernization initiatives supporting branch and teller operations.
• Drive execution across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure project deliverables remain on schedule, within scope, and aligned to business objectives.
• Serve as primary project lead working with external vendor partners.
• Manage vendor deliverables, timelines, commitments, and issue resolution.
