Senior Project Manager

Overview

Client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the execution of enterprise data initiatives supporting critical business, regulatory, and operational objectives. This role will coordinate multiple teams and workstreams, manage dependencies and deliverables, and provide stakeholders with clear visibility into project health, risks, readiness, and implementation progress.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, RAID logs, action-item trackers, decision logs, and supporting documentation.
• Drive multiple concurrent projects while tracking deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, constraints, and milestones.
• Manage commitments and action items to ensure accountability and timely completion.
• Identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, and dependency impacts before they affect delivery.
• Coordinate data-related deliverables with broader business and technology project objectives.
• Facilitate project checkpoints, status meetings, implementation planning, readiness reviews, and dependency discussions.
• Coordinate activities across data, analytics, engineering, architecture, governance, testing, product, and business teams.
• Consolidate project status, risks, decisions, dependencies, action items, and milestones into an integrated delivery view.
• Prepare executive-ready dashboards, scorecards, status reports, and governance materials.
• Communicate accomplishments, delivery concerns, milestones, and implementation readiness to stakeholders and leadership.
• Maintain Jira and Confluence as accurate sources of truth for project execution, reporting, and documentation.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, Project Management, Analytics, Finance, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of project management, technology delivery, PMO, or related experience.
• Banking or financial services experience supporting technology, data, analytics, governance, regulatory, risk, or modernization initiatives.
• Experience leading projects involving data warehousing, data integration, ETL, data governance, data management, analytics, reporting, regulatory data, or data modernization.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects within large enterprise environments.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholder groups.
• Advanced, hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence, including Jira boards, Kanban boards, dashboards, delivery metrics, reporting, and documentation.
• Experience creating project plans, RAID logs, dashboards, executive reports, and project documentation.
• Experience supporting Kanban, Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Understanding of data management, data governance, data quality, data lineage, metadata management, and Critical Data Elements.
• Strong project planning, stakeholder coordination, presentation, and execution skills.

Preferred Skills or Experience

• PMP certification.
• Scrum Master certification.
• Experience supporting enterprise data and analytics organizations.
• Experience with Alation, GCP, BigQuery, or similar enterprise data platforms.
• Experience supporting large-scale modernization or transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with lending, collateral management, or regulatory reporting.
