Position Overview:
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering strategic, cross‑functional projects centered on IT lifecycle management services (including imaging, kitting, logistics, deployment, and asset recovery). This includes oversight of wide range of initiatives related to hardware, software, and network management. The Senior Project Manager will act as the primary point of accountability for this account, managing scope, timelines, risk, and stakeholders management.
This role partners closely with operations, logistics, engineering, and client stakeholders to ensure projects are executed efficiently, remain compliant with internal and external standards, and support scalable, end‑to‑end lifecycle solutions for customer environments.
This is a full-time, hybrid 3 day per week on-site role for a Senior Project Manager working out of our Carol Stream IL facility.
What you will do as the Senior Project Manager:

- Own delivery of IT lifecycle management initiatives, overseeing inventory planning, imaging and kitting, logistics and deployment, asset recovery, and end‑of‑life processes.
- Manage hardware decommissioning programs, including secure disposal and reclamation, while ensuring compliance with internal standards, client requirements, and regulatory obligations.
- Lead the overall program strategy, execution, and delivery in alignment with organizational objectives.
- Manage large, complex, enterprise-wide projects across all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across teams and departments.
- Ensure clear, concise, and timely communications across stakeholders; align expectations, manage risks, and drive project success.
- Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to align priorities and resolve issues; maintain strong client relationships and customer satisfaction.
- Manage and mentor cross-functional teams; provide guidance, support, and enable professional growth.
- Proactively identify program risks and issues; develop mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and maintain RAID logs.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Track performance metrics; provide internal/external status reporting, SLA management, and progress updates to leadership.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and end-of-month billing (as applicable).
- Support service delivery operations including order management visibility (shipping/tracking), demand planning, inventory management, ITAD, and stock taking.
- Coordinate with TSC contacts to address and resolve TSC-related issues.
What you will bring to the team:
- 8+ years of project management experience.
- Proven experience in Service Delivery Management and IT Service Management (ITSM) principles; ability to manage workflows effectively.
- Strong leadership experience managing and mentoring cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
- Excellent stakeholder management and customer-facing communication skills; exceptional customer service and client engagement.
- Project management methodology expertise (project management and agile techniques/tools); certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or PgMP preferred.
- Risk management expertise, including mitigation planning and RAID log management.
- Performance monitoring and reporting experience (internal/external status reporting); SLA management.
- Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and EOM billing.
- Advanced proficiency with Smartsheet, Excel, PowerPoint, and Dynamics 365 CE.
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills; adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience supporting Point of Sale and/or Retail deployments, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Positive, can-do attitude and collaborative mindset.
Qualified candidates can expect at salary range of $100,000-$117,000.
