Summary of Position/Purpose: The successful Senior Project Manager leads complex MEP construction projects and project teams to exceed client expectations through disciplined execution, strong stakeholder engagement, and proactive financial and schedule management. This role is responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and in alignment with Companies pursuit of world-class performance. The Senior PM drives profitability and cash flow through project-specific financial strategies, continuous monitoring of budget and schedule, and timely corrective action. Job Description Role and Responsibilities
  • Provide senior-level leadership for MEP project teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives, schedules, and financial targets
  • Lead the selection, onboarding, and performance management of MEP subcontractors and vendors
  • Oversee day-to-day management of MEP subcontractors and field partners to ensure scope, quality, and schedule expectations are met
  • Review and approve MEP requisitions, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
  • Conduct regular site walks as the senior on-site leader to verify progress, quality, and safety compliance
  • Coordinate closely with BIM/VDC teams and Superintendents to ensure constructability and clash resolution stays on schedule
  • Manage inspection, testing, commissioning, and closeout processes, including as-builts, O&Ms, attic stock, and training/turnover
  • Lead coordination with Owner third-party consultants, commissioning agents, and testing agencies
  • Develop and manage equipment delivery logs and long-lead procurement strategies
  • Lead and participate in owner, subcontractor, coordination, and field meetings
  • Develop punch lists and drive timely completion of MEP scope
  • Coordinate public utility interfaces, including temporary and permanent services (electric, gas, steam, etc.)
  • Establish and maintain a collaborative project environment emphasizing communication, accountability, and conditions of project satisfaction
  • Develop, maintain, and update project execution plans including schedule, QC, communication, and risk management plans
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, EAC, FAC, WIP reporting, billings, and collections to ensure profitability and cash flow
  • Analyze project performance and proactively resolve schedule, cost, and productivity risks
  • Ensure project documentation and controls comply with contract requirements and companie's standards
  • Manage material procurement, logistics, and delivery sequencing
  • Coordinate with GM and VP of Field Operations on resource planning and Client needs
  • Lead lessons-learned sessions and drive continuous improvement across project teams
  • Mentor and develop PMs, APMs, and field leadership
Qualifications and education requirements
  • High school diploma or GED minimum
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction, Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field
  • PMP certification preferred
  • USACE CQM-C certification preferred
  • 10+ years managing complex MEP construction projects
  • Strong understanding of BIM/VDC coordination and clash detection processes
  • Strong knowledge of testing, balancing, and commissioning practices
  • Proficiency in project scheduling and financial systems (e.G., Primavera P6, MS Project, Spitfire, or equivalent)
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications

  • Working knowledge of ASHRAE, NEC, NFPA, IMC, IFGC, IPC, and OSHA standards
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
