Description
- Lead the full lifecycle of industrial and commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, and overall financial performance.
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, vendors, consultants, architects, and project stakeholders.
- Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project documentation to identify potential issues and opportunities.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and project correspondence.
- Maintain project schedules and proactively address delays, conflicts, and schedule risks.
- Conduct regular project meetings and maintain clear communication with clients and project teams.
- Monitor project costs, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure projects remain within budget.
- Partner closely with Superintendents and field teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to a high standard.
- Drive project closeout, punch lists, turnover, and final documentation.
Profile
- Project Management experience within commercial and industrial construction.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, contracts, scheduling, and project financials.
- Experience managing projects from preconstruction through completion.
- Strong subcontractor and vendor management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with construction project management software such as Procore or similar platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
