Job Details

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, financial performance, and successful delivery of commercial construction projects. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and project teams while providing leadership from preconstruction through closeout.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects or large-scale complex projects simultaneously.
• Manage budgets, schedules, procurement activities, and contract administration.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Lead project teams consisting of Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and support staff.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining profitability goals.
• Conduct progress meetings and provide regular reporting to leadership and clients.
• Review and negotiate subcontract agreements, change orders, and project documentation.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Support business development efforts and participate in client relationship management.
• Mentor and develop junior project management staff.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Proven experience managing projects valued at $15M+.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Experience leading cross-functional project teams and managing client relationships.
• Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Track record of successfully delivering ground-up and/or major renovation commercial projects.

Ideal Backgrounds: Commercial General Contracting, Construction Management, Healthcare, Higher Education, Industrial, Corporate Office, Mixed-Use, Municipal, or Large-Scale Commercial Construction Projects.
