Join a Growing Heavy Civil Contractor

We are partnering with a well-established heavy civil contractor seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex infrastructure projects from preconstruction through closeout. This is an opportunity to join a company with a strong backlog, a collaborative leadership team, and a reputation for delivering high-quality civil construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple heavy civil projects from award through completion.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Lead Project Managers, Project Engineers, and field teams.
  • Coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Review contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and pay applications.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for future work.
  • Mentor and develop junior project management staff.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of heavy civil construction project management experience.
  • Proven success managing infrastructure projects valued at several million dollars or more.
  • Experience with roadway, bridge, underground utility, earthwork, site development, or transportation projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with project management software, scheduling, and cost control systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
