ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you a seasoned Project Manager who thrives on leading high-impact software implementations while mentoring others and improving delivery operations?

Our Client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead its most strategic and complex customer implementations from kickoff through go-live. This is a highly visible role that offers the opportunity to work directly with executive stakeholders, influence organizational processes, and help shape the future of project delivery within a growing technology company.

In addition to managing critical customer engagements, you will serve as a mentor and trusted advisor to fellow Project Managers, helping elevate project execution standards and support company-wide growth.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Lead the company’s large software implementation projects
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for executive stakeholders and customer leadership teams
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, resource requirements, and communication strategies
  • Identify project risks, dependencies, and obstacles while proactively driving resolution plans
  • Manage project scope, change requests, and stakeholder expectations throughout the implementation lifecycle
  • Drive accountability across customer and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Mentor and support Project Managers across the organization
  • Provide guidance on project planning, issue resolution, customer escalations, and cross-functional coordination
  • Partner closely with Product, Development, Quality Assurance, Customer Success, and Support teams
  • Coordinate resources and priorities across multiple concurrent implementations
  • Help improve project management standards, implementation methodologies, and delivery best practices
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance customer onboarding, implementation efficiency, and operational scalability
  • Support leadership with implementation forecasting, resource planning, and strategic prioritization
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Eight  or more years of experience leading software, SaaS, or technology implementation projects
  • Experience managing complex, customer-facing software implementations
  • Proven ability to mentor, coach, or provide leadership to project teams
  • Strong knowledge of SaaS implementation methodologies and software delivery processes
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer-facing communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience collaborating closely with software development and product teams
  • Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies
  • Proficiency with Jira, Azure DevOps, Monday.com, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar tools
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Self-motivated mindset with the ability to thrive in a high-growth environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • PMP certification
  • Additional experience supporting organizational project management process improvement initiatives

  • Houston, Texas
  • Hybrid work environment with a combination of in-office and remote work each week
  • Occasional travel for customer meetings, implementation activities, and company events
