Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager / Practice Builder to grow our Land Development practice in Cincinnati, OH.


As a Senior Project Manager / Practice Builder, you will:


+ Craft a bold vision for growth

+ Expand and direct a dynamic Land Development practice with autonomy to lead, direct, and grow your business

Key Leadership Responsibilities:


+ Define and execute the vision for our Land Development practice, ensuring sustainable growth and innovation.

+ Supervise and lead Land Development design projects, providing technical expertise and strategic oversight.

+ Develop and maintain strong client relationships, positioning our firm as a trusted partner in the Land Development industry.

+ Drive business development efforts, leveraging industry connections to secure new opportunities and expand market presence.

Responsibilities


+ Manage, lead, and expand practice teams for multi-discipline projects and programs of work in the fields of Land Development.

+ Apply an entrepreneurial spirit to create a vision for growth in the local Land Development practice and beyond

+ Leadership responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Operating with integrity and sound business principals

+ Providing vision, business planning, strategy and establishing goals

+ Building and maintaining positive client relationships

+ Having open communication with your partners and team

+ Growing and leading a Land Development practice

+ Management responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Establishing and cultivating client relationships

+ Making presentations

+ Writing proposals and scope of work

+ Establishing budgets

+ Ensuring quality and timeliness of deliverables, and supervising the execution of work

+ Our Practice Builders manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentor


Qualifications


+ 10+ years of civil engineering, design, and management of Land Development projects

+ Bachelor's Degree

+ Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license

+ Extensive client contacts and relationships with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners and/or land owners

+ Strong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3D

+ Business development skills, proven ability to win work, and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work

+ Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization

+ Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner

+ Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably

+ Excellent communication, leadership, and technical skills

+ Strong desire and ability to be engaged with clients solving project problems

+ Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
