Purpose


The Senior Project Manager leads the end-to-end delivery of large-scale, cross-functional projectsowning the full project lifecycle from planning and development through execution, monitoring, and final delivery. This role is accountable for project scope, budget, schedule, resources, and overall team performance.

The Senior Project Manager defines and drives the project execution strategy, translating customer scope and requirements into clear project plans that align technical solutions, operational capabilities, and financial targets. The role ensures the right balance between standard and custom solutions to meet both client expectations and project constraints.

As an advanced project leader, the Senior Project Manager drives strategic problem-solving and course correction throughout the project lifecycle. The role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts—leveraging their expertise or serving as one when needed—to deliver effective, practical solutions.

Overall, the Senior Project Manager ensures disciplined project leadership and successful project outcomes while balancing technical feasibility, operational efficiency, and financial performance.

ProjectManagement

  • Drawtogethertheengineering,manufacturing,operationalandsupportdisciplinesto ensure Project success.

Bidding& Development

  • Lead intranslatingClientneedsinto“TAITlanguage”.
  • EnsurethattheClient’svisionisconsideredthroughouttheBiddingphase.
  • GenerateorcollaborateonProjectProposalsandQuotes.
  • Drive the developmentofcreativeandtechnicalsolutions.
  • Leadership in the cost estimatesanddeterminecontingencies.
  • Establishpricingandpaymentschedules.

Commercial,Contractual&Legal

  • UnderstandtheProject’scommercialtermsasoutlinedinthecontract,alongwith contractual & legal relationships formed between TAIT and the project client.
  • ActasaClientadvocatewithinTAITbyensuringthehighestlevelsofCustomerService and sustaining the boutique experience that our clients have come to expect.
  • Maintain a uniqueconnectiontoourclients,theirteams,andtheirstakeholders
  • EnsureTAIT'sduties&responsibilitiesareproperly executed. Ensuretheclientexecutestheirdutiescorrectlyand,wherenecessary,ensureTAITs interests are protected.

  • Plancashflowscheduleaccordingtoproposalsandcontract

    • Provideperiodicprojectstatusreports

Qualifications

  • 12 + years Project management or relevant industry experience in entertainment, live events, construction management, or other relevant field. OR Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Technical Theater, or Live Event related field, plus 10+ years experience in Entertainment or Project Management
  • Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Project scheduling (e.g. MS Project, Asana)
  • Budget management and analysis (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) (e.g. Epicor, SAP)
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) (e.g. Zendesk, Salesforce)
  • Content Management System (e.g. Box, SharePoint, Google Drive)
  • Familiarity with manufacturing or fabrication processes and principles
  • Ability to be in office Monday - Friday, with travel to job sites up to 30%

Preferred Experience

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Proven track record of managing profitable projects
  • Proven ability to prioritize across multiple projects
  • Commercial and contractual responsibilities

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

  • Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks which require following basic safety precautions.
  • Must be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work within or visit areas where required. This includes safety glasses, reflective vest, ear plugs, steel-toed shoes, and other PPE as required by the location.
