We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager to support the Merger & Acquisition (M&A) Infrastructure Team. In this highly dynamic, rapid-deployment environment, you will be responsible for managing approximately 20 concurrent infrastructure deployment projects scheduled over the next 4-5 months across multiple regional facilities.
Please note: This is strictly an IT Infrastructure Project Management role, not an Applications PM role. You will not perform hands-on technical work, but you will be the driving force coordinating multiple infrastructure teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless site integrations on tightly compressed schedules.
End-to-End Project Management: Develop, manage, and maintain project schedules for multiple concurrent infrastructure implementations in an Agile environment.
Infrastructure Deployment Coordination: Direct and coordinate cross-functional teams responsible for network deployments, cabling, and hardware/device installations.
Site Management: Conduct site assessments, manage infrastructure readiness, perform site visits, and oversee complete site cutovers.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, landlords, and third-party vendors. Lead project meetings and deliver regular status updates.
Financial Tracking: Track project expenditures and manage budget constraints throughout the deployment lifecycle.
Risk Mitigation: Think on your feet to resolve deployment roadblocks, quickly adapting to rapidly changing priorities while keeping high-pressure projects on track.
Experience: Proven, senior-level experience explicitly managing IT Infrastructure projects (Network, Cabling, and Device deployments). Junior-level candidates will not be considered.
PPM Tools: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, and CA Clarity (or similar ATP project management tools).
Methodology: Solid understanding of Agile project management and standard PMI PMBOK activities.
Pacing & Scale: Demonstrated success managing fast-paced infrastructure rollouts, multiple simultaneous site deployments, and compressed implementation timelines.
Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and organizational skills. Must be highly independent, capable of handling stress, and calm under pressure.
Travel: Ability to travel up to 50% to local project sites (travel between customer sites is reimbursed).
Industry Experience: Healthcare IT experience is highly preferred (specifically familiarity with ambulatory environments and IT terminology).
M&A Experience: Prior background handling Mergers & Acquisitions infrastructure integrations.
Certifications: PMP and/or Agile/Scrum certifications are a strong plus.
Additional Skills: Experience with applications rollout is a bonus, though infrastructure remains the primary focus.
