Senior Project Manager

Summary:

Location: New York, NY

Duration: 6 months initially

Responsibilities:

• Develop a comprehensive project plan outlining project scope, objectives, timelines, budget, and resources.
• Manage the project team to ensure activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the project stays on track.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management and project sponsors.
• Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, for effective and efficient use.
• Ensure project deliverables meet required quality standards and that processes are followed consistently.
• Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, or budget, ensuring proper documentation and approval.
• Ensure all project deliverables are completed and the project is closed out efficiently.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience.
• Experience managing Finance system projects is preferred.
• Minimum experience with 5 full Project Life Cycles, preferably with MNCs.
• Experience with both Waterfall and AGILE methodologies.
• Expertise in using Project Planning Management tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire team members.
• Good time management skills to manage personal and team deadlines.
• Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve project issues effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment independently with a proactive approach.
