Lead Complex Nuclear Fuel Projects with Broad Industry & Regulatory Exposure
The Opportunity
Take a lead role in the planning and execution of complex nuclear fuel engineering, development, and production initiatives.
Reporting to the Director of Fuel Facilities Operations, you’ll coordinate multidisciplinary projects and serve as a key liaison between engineering teams and external stakeholders, including the NRC, laboratories, engineering and construction firms, government entities, investors, customers, and providers.
This role offers significant ownership and visibility, with responsibility for translating engineering progress into actionable project plans, managing schedules and budgets, and keeping highly technical projects moving forward.

What You’ll Do
- Develop and manage project scope, schedules, resources, budgets, and deliverables.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, quality assurance, operations, and external project partners.
- Translate engineering design progress into clear schedules, milestones, and stakeholder updates.
- Monitor project performance and adjust plans to maintain critical milestones.
- Manage budgets, schedules, project documentation, reporting, and contractual deliverables.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Provide regular project updates to leadership and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and safety standards.
- Support improvements to project execution processes.
What You’ll Bring
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of project management experience within nuclear, energy, or manufacturing.
- Experience leading complex, multidisciplinary projects from inception through completion.
- Construction management and/or development project experience.
- Strong experience with budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, including MS Project and/or Primavera.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- PMP certification or equivalent.
- Bilingual Spanish capabilities.
