Known for its disciplined approach and institutional-quality operations, the company is equally recognized for fostering a supportive culture that prioritizes work-life balance, professional development, and long-term employee satisfaction.Job DescriptionDevelopment & Project OversightServe as the Owner's Representative across all phases of development, from feasibility through lease-up and stabilizationManage project schedules, budgets, and scopes to ensure successful deliveryCoordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants to advance project milestonesLead regular project meetings and provide updates to senior leadershipFinancial & Capital ManagementAssist in project underwriting, budgeting, and financial modelingMonitor project budgets, contingencies, and cash flowsSupport capital structuring and closing processesReview draw requests and coordinate with lenders and investorsConstruction ManagementOversee construction progress, budgets, and quality controlReview contractor bids, contracts, and change ordersCoordinate with general contractors and third-party inspectorsEnsure adherence to schedules and resolve construction issuesStakeholder & Community EngagementServe as a key liaison with municipalities, community stakeholders, and partnersParticipate in public meetings, zoning hearings, and community outreach effortsSupport entitlement processes and permittingRisk Management & ReportingIdentify and mitigate project risks across development lifecycleMaintain thorough project documentation and reportingProvide regular status reports to ownership and investorsThe Successful ApplicantRequiredBachelor's degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Construction Management, Finance, or related field5-10+ years of experience in real estate development, project management, or owner's representationDemonstrated experience with affordable housing projects, particularly LIHTCStrong knowledge of development processes, entitlements, and construction managementExperience managing project budgets, schedules, and consultant teamsExcellent communication, organization, and leadership skillsPreferredDirect experience working for a real estate developer or affordable housing developerExperience with mixed-income, multifamily, or supportive housing developmentsFamiliarity with public financing tools and layered capital structuresProfessional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED, or similar)Experience working with public agencies or public-private partnershipsWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary ranging from $175,000 to $220,000 USDComprehensive standard benefits packageOpportunity to lead impactful projects that expand access to affordable housingWork on complex, mission-driven developmentsCollaborative and entrepreneurial team environmentCompetitive compensation and benefits package
