Impact Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support complex transportation infrastructure projects in Bossier City, Louisiana. This leadership position is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer who can oversee multidisciplinary teams, collaborate with public agencies and community stakeholders, and guide projects toward successful, on-time and on-budget delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the consultants project leader and directly support the owners leadership team.
Manage and oversee projects and individual tasks, including schedules, budgets, quality, stakeholder coordination, and federal compliance.
Lead technical discussions and resolve complex engineering and construction issues.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of project objectives beyond technical requirements.
Make timely, informed decisions to help meet DOT schedules and responsibilities.
Balance technical constraints, policy objectives, and stakeholder needs when recommending solutions.
Coordinate with government agencies and local jurisdictions to facilitate information sharing and secure project support.
Engage community and business stakeholders, gather productive input, and resolve concerns promptly.
Promote a safety-first culture through proactive risk awareness and clear communication.
Support quality-management practices, including thorough reviews, self-checking procedures, and attention to detail.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year institution, or equivalent relevant experience.
At least 10 years of experience in transportation infrastructure development and construction.
Professional Engineer licensure.
Valid drivers license and satisfactory motor vehicle record.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening in accordance with applicable federal requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Active Professional Engineer license in Louisiana.
Knowledge of public policy and business practices related to transportation.
Familiarity with DOT and FHWA policies and procedures.
Ability to navigate complex political and organizational environments.
Strong negotiation, leadership, and consensus-building skills.
Experience managing multiple projects or task orders while meeting schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
