Senior Project Manager

Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a Senior Project Manager for their Peoria, IL location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple application development projects simultaneously.
• Drive project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
• Lead projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Coordinate cross-functional and multi-vendor teams to deliver business objectives.
• Track project progress, risks, dependencies, and milestones.
• Prepare project plans, status reports, and executive communications.
• Utilize tools such as Microsoft Project (MPP), Azure DevOps (ADO), and Jira.
• Support adoption of GenAI capabilities within project management practices.
• Apply Portfolio & Project Management (PPM) best practices to improve delivery outcomes.

• Strong Project/Program Management experience supporting Application Development initiatives.
• Hands-on experience delivering projects using Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proven experience managing projects in a multi-vendor environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, ADO, and Jira.
• PMP Certification preferred.
