Job Description
Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a Senior Project Manager for their Peoria, IL location.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple application development projects simultaneously.
- Drive project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
- Lead projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Coordinate cross-functional and multi-vendor teams to deliver business objectives.
- Track project progress, risks, dependencies, and milestones.
- Prepare project plans, status reports, and executive communications.
- Utilize tools such as Microsoft Project (MPP), Azure DevOps (ADO), and Jira.
- Support adoption of GenAI capabilities within project management practices.
- Apply Portfolio & Project Management (PPM) best practices to improve delivery outcomes.
Requirements:
- Strong Project/Program Management experience supporting Application Development initiatives.
- Hands-on experience delivering projects using Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proven experience managing projects in a multi-vendor environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Project, ADO, and Jira.
- PMP Certification preferred.
