Construction Project ManagerOur client is a highly respected construction management and general contracting firm with a diverse portfolio spanning pharmaceutical, industrial, warehouse, commercial, educational, and institutional projects throughout the NJ. Known for delivering complex projects with demanding technical requirements, the company has established long-term relationships with major pharmaceutical clients and continues to grow through repeat business and exceptional project execution.Job DescriptionLead the planning, execution, and delivery of pharmaceutical construction projects across an active client campus environment.Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including ground-up developments and complex interior fit-outs.Oversee project budgets, schedules, staffing plans, procurement, and risk management strategies.Coordinate all phases of construction from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful project outcomes.Direct subcontractors, consultants, architects, engineers, and client stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.Lead utility infrastructure coordination, site logistics planning, and campus-wide construction integration efforts.Manage complex MEP installations, commissioning activities, and quality assurance processes.Review and negotiate contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.Monitor project financial performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.Ensure adherence to safety, quality, regulatory, and client-specific requirements.Mentor and develop Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and field operations personnel.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantA successful Lead Project Manager should have:10-15+ years of construction project management experience with a strong background in ground-up construction.Proven success managing pharmaceutical, commercial, industrial, institutional, or highly technical construction projects.Extensive experience overseeing utility-intensive scopes including underground infrastructure, site utilities, and campus-wide utility coordination.Strong MEP background with the ability to manage complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and commissioning activities.Experience managing projects within active pharmaceutical, manufacturing, healthcare, or mission-critical environments is highly desirable.Demonstrated ability to lead large project teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders.Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.Proficiency with industry-standard software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar platforms.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills.What's on OfferCompetitive base salary of $160,000 - $175,000 based on experience.Annual performance bonus opportunity.Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) with company match.Generous PTO and paid holidays.Vehicle allowance or company vehicle.Opportunity to lead high-profile pharmaceutical campus projects for one of the region's premier construction organizations.Long-term career advancement into Executive Project Management, Operations Leadership, or Director-level positions.Exposure to a diverse portfolio of technically challenging pharmaceutical, industrial, commercial, educational, and institutional projects.Job summary:SectorConstructionSub SectorProject ManagerIndustryPropertyWherePlainsboroContract TypePermanent
