Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to lead and manage residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for quality control. You will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the planning, implementation, and delivery of residential construction projects.
2. Develop comprehensive project schedules and coordinate all activities to ensure project deadlines are met.
3. Oversee all aspects of projects, including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing project progress.
4. Act as the key point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
5. Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
6. Manage and lead project teams, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment.
7. Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
8. Conduct quality control checks, ensuring the safety and effectiveness of the project.
9. Identify and resolve any issues or risks that may arise during the project lifecycle.
10. Prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of the project.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years of proven working experience in project management in the construction industry, specifically residential projects.
2. Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.
3. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
4. Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
5. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
7. Strong working knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
8. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strict attention to detail.
9. Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.
10. PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an advantage.
11. Demonstrated ability to make important decisions under pressure.
12. Exceptional negotiation skills, with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints.
13. A strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in the construction industry.
