    Job Title: Senior Project Manager

    Location(s): Richmond, VA
    (Hybrid: preferred 2 days/week onsite)


    Job Description:
    We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the planning and implementation of a Revenue Lifecycle Replacement System. This is a high-risk, enterprise-level initiative involving multiple workstreams, vendor management, and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate is a hands-on project manager with extensive experience driving complex technology implementations from planning through execution.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of a complex revenue lifecycle replacement project.
    • Coordinate activities among vendors, consultants, IT teams, and business stakeholders.
    • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and deliverables.
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
    • Manage vendor performance and track progress using defined metrics.
    • Prepare and deliver executive-level project status reports and presentations.
    • Oversee day-to-day project execution across multiple workstreams.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with executive leadership, business stakeholders, project sponsors, technology teams, vendors, and suppliers.
    • Collaborate with technology leads and solution architects to incorporate organizational best practices into project planning and execution.
    • Drive project delivery throughout the full lifecycle, including procurement, planning, execution, risk management, scope management, and transition to operations.
    • Ensure compliance with established project management standards, governance, and reporting requirements.
    • Facilitate the resolution of technical and business issues impacting project success.
    • Lead project scoping, requirements gathering, estimation, and planning activities.

    Required Skills:

    • Extensive experience managing large, high-risk, complex IT implementation projects.
    • Strong project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management skills.
    • Experience managing third-party vendors and consulting partners.
    • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
    • Strong risk, issue, and change management experience.
    • Experience presenting project updates to senior leadership.
    • Hands-on approach to project execution and delivery.
    • Strong leadership, coordination, and organizational skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience implementing revenue lifecycle, revenue cycle, or enterprise business systems.
    • Experience working within government or public-sector environments.
    • Familiarity with formal project management governance frameworks.
    • Experience coordinating enterprise technology implementations involving multiple vendors and internal teams.

    Note:

    • Hybrid work (2 days onsite per week) is preferred.
    • Exceptional remote candidates may be considered if all required experience is clearly documented throughout the resume.
    • Local candidates are preferred due to the onsite expectation.
