Bring your construction leadership to a respected Midwest contractor headquartered in St. Louis, where you’ll own multimillion-dollar site design-build projects from preconstruction through closeout and warranty. This Senior Project Manager role combines field credibility, financial accountability, and direct client partnership across 2–4 concurrent projects.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Project Manager position include:
- 5–10 years of progressive construction project management experience, including lead-PM ownership of budget, schedule, client relationships, and project P&L on multimillion-dollar work.
- Own the full project lifecycle execution following preconstruction handoff through closeout and warranty.
- Manage 2–4 concurrent design-build projects valued at $500K–$5M each.
- Build and maintain project schedules, including long-lead materials, critical path, and weather contingency.
- Own the project P&L, deliver contracted gross margin or better, and report variance monthly through the Worse-Than-Bid framework.
- Administer subcontractor contracts, pay applications, lien waivers, and change orders per project SOP while protecting cash flow.
- Lead weekly or biweekly owner-architect-contractor (OAC) meetings with clear minutes, action items, and schedule updates.
- Maintain rigorous documentation (RFIs, change orders, daily reports, photographs, submittals, and warranty/closeout records) to support dispute resolution and warranty.
Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
