Senior, Project Manager

Job Description:

The Role

Entegris is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Business Operations team at our San Luis Obispo, California location.

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading strategic, cross-functional initiatives that optimize the end-to-end order lifecycle within a complex manufacturing environment. This role drives operational efficiency, improves delivery predictability, and enhances customer satisfaction by ensuring seamless execution from order intake through production and final delivery.

Serving as a central orchestrator across Sales, Supply Chain, Production, Engineering, Quality, and Customer Operations, this individual identifies systemic bottlenecks, leads process improvements, and ensures scalable, reliable execution. The role requires strong program leadership, operational insight, and the ability to translate business priorities into measurable outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Lead end-to-end ownership of order lifecycle execution, from order intake and validation through production, fulfillment, and delivery

  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Sales, Production, Supply Chain, Quality, and Customer Service to ensure on-time and accurate order fulfillment

  • Develop and manage integrated project plans aligned to production schedules, identifying critical paths, dependencies, and risks

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for order execution challenges, coordinating rapid issue resolution and recovery planning

  • Drive improvements in schedule adherence, delivery predictability, and execution timelines across operations

  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, including cycle time, on-time delivery (OTD), backlog, WIP aging, and material availability

  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for operational inefficiencies and delivery delays

  • Identify systemic bottlenecks (capacity, materials, logistics, quality) and implement scalable process improvements

  • Facilitate daily/weekly operational reviews to track execution progress, address risks, and remove barriers

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to provide visibility into order and project performance

  • Coordinate contract execution requirements, including scope adherence, deliverables, and customer acceptance criteria

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to manage customer expectations and ensure high levels of satisfaction

  • Lead change management efforts by assessing cross-functional impacts and ensuring alignment across processes and systems

  • Drive adoption of project management tools, methodologies, and best practices to enhance execution efficiency

  • Support contract negotiations, change orders, and dispute resolution in partnership with commercial and legal teams

  • Represent operations in customer-facing engagements, including status updates, risk discussions, and executive reviews

  • Create a healthy and safe work environment for all employees.

  • Any other duties as assigned.

What We Seek

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field

  • 8-12+ years of experience in project or program management within manufacturing or operations environments

  • Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain dynamics, and order fulfillment workflows

  • Demonstrated ability to improve operational performance, delivery timelines, and process efficiency

  • Experience with project planning, risk management, and performance tracking tools

  • Experience in semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, or regulated industries

  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools

  • Strong data analysis and visualization capabilities (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau)

  • Certification in Project Management (PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent)

  • Experience leading global or multi-site initiatives
