Senior Project Manager

Location: Santa Clara, California (Onsite)

Role Overview

The Senior Project Manager will be solution-oriented and possess a broad set of work experiences within a finance organization. This role provides a strong voice to represent finance across a portfolio of initiatives and involves collaboration with finance, accounting, and operations leaders, as well as teams outside of Finance such as IT. The position also supports Tax initiatives and oversees the establishment of enablement teams for functions like change management and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive change across the finance organization, engaging in strategy development, project management, and execution.
• Assess current processes and design future state business processes to create operational efficiencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather information, test hypotheses, articulate business problems, mobilize project teams, and implement solutions.
• Structure and size large projects into executable plans.
• Develop long-term roadmaps, detailed project plans, success criteria, and key metrics.
• Create deliverables such as business case memos and key decision documents for executive review.
• Capture and drive accountability for RAID items.
• Drive adherence to transformation playbook software development lifecycle milestones.
• Support Tax, Ops, RevOps, Controllership, and other key stakeholders as part of program delivery.

Required Qualifications

• 8-10 overall years of experience within the technology sector, with a combination of consulting and industry experience in a PMO.
• An MBA or a similar Accounting/Finance degree, or equivalent experience is required.
• Extensive project management skills, including experience with system implementations and large-scale transformations.
• Ability to manage projects across multiple functional areas, influencing stakeholders and driving results.
• Understanding of end-to-end financial processes, financial systems, and internal controls for a large-scale global technology company.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Hands-on and results-oriented with a problem-solving and action-oriented mindset.
• Intellectual curiosity, self-starter, and critical thinker.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification.
• CPA or equivalent is a plus.
