Description
The Key Responsibilities:
- Lead large-scale ground-up construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Manage all project operations including budgets, forecasting, procurement, subcontractor buyout, RFIs, submittals, change orders, scheduling, and client communication.
- Oversee site development and utility infrastructure, including grading, stormwater, sanitary sewer, underground utilities, foundations, footers, MEP systems, and structural concrete parking garages.
- Coordinate complex building systems including elevators, elevator shafts, nurse call stations, low-voltage systems, fire alarm systems, access control, life-safety systems, and commissioning activities.
- Build strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and project teams while driving successful project turnover, owner satisfaction, and project closeout
Profile
The Successful Candidate:
- 7+ years of construction project management experience, including leadership of large-scale ground-up commercial, healthcare, senior living, assisted living, memory care, or multifamily projects.
- Proven ability to manage projects from site development and utilities through final turnover, including budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractor management, and client relationships.
- Experience coordinating complex building systems, including elevators, elevator shafts, nurse call stations, low-voltage infrastructure, fire alarm, access control, and life-safety systems.
- Strong background in utility construction and MEP coordination, including grading, stormwater, sanitary sewer, underground utilities, footers, foundations, and structural concrete such as parking garages.
- A proactive leader with excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills who can confidently drive projects, build relationships, and deliver exceptional results.
