CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking Senior Project Manager (Sports) to join our Sports Team in Albany, NY. As a key leader, you'll oversee high-profile sports, recreation, and community-focused projects through every phase of delivery. From strategy and client engagement to team leadership and project execution, you'll play a pivotal role in bringing visionary spaces to life while helping expand CHA's impact in the sports market.

What You'll Do::

• Lead proposal development and establish project scopes, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with multidisciplinary design teams
• Serve as the primary client partner, building trusted relationships and ensuring project goals are achieved from concept through completion
• Develop project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and direct project planning and coordination efforts across architects, engineers, planners, and specialty consultants
• Manage project schedules, deliverables, approvals, and quality control processes to support successful project execution
• Oversee project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue, and resource management
• Lead contract administration, consultant coordination, and project documentation throughout all phases of delivery
• Facilitate project meetings and provide timely progress updates to clients and internal stakeholders
• Support marketing efforts, help identify new opportunities, and contribute to the growth of CHA’s Sports portfolio

What You Bring::

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field required
• Minimum of 9 years of experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering, architecture, and construction administration projects required, including 6 years of project management experience
• Commercial construction design experience required
• Sports facilities experience preferred
• Demonstrated experience managing client relationships, understanding contract requirements, and overseeing multiple concurrent projects
• Proven experience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and project closeout documents required
• Experience managing project accounting processes—including forecasting, budgeting, revenue, and cash flow—required
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required; knowledge of MS Project and Deltek VantagePoint preferred
• An articulate and persuasive communicator, both one-on-one and in front of large groups
• Ability to travel as needed required
• PE (Professional Engineer) license or RA (Registered Architect) license preferred
• Consulting industry experience highly preferred

Salary Range::

$130,000 - $150,000

 

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
