Position Purpose/Summary
Responsible for providing project management coordination and oversight for the Department of Parks, Buildings and Recreation Management. Provides independent administrative judgment and decision making for directing, coordinating, and managing Park Division projects. Responsible for researching, developing and writing grant proposals for the Department. Work is performed with technical independence, with considerable latitude for the exercise of judgment and decision making in accordance with departmental standards, under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Employee Operations, who reviews work through reports and conferences. Supervision may be exercised over the technical support staff, consultants and clerical personnel in support of specific projects.
