    Description

    The Senior Project Manager – Supply Chain position will deliver projects across large complex cross-functional processes by leveraging appropriate tools to develop sustained improvements that help management achieve business goals and yield increased operational and financial return. This includes identifying problem statements and customer expectations, executing projects to remove waste, defects, and unnecessary work, and building performance indicators to measure improvement. The role focuses on strategic initiatives, productivity efforts, and cross-functional projects to take cost out of the organization and to set cost improvement efforts to drive the enterprise forward.

    Position allows for telecommuting from anywhere in the continental U.S.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage large-scale, cross-functional, complex process improvement projects while, often concurrently, scoping other projects in the pipeline.
    • Lead charter development, stakeholder analysis, process design, improvement solutions, testing, and implementation plans through successful application of methodologies for each the project.
    • Work with users to ensure accurate and complete definition of appropriate business requirements.
    • Develop and manage detail project plans, milestones, and critical-path dates, and identify and mitigate issues and risks associated with the project schedule.
    • Manage the project to successful completion with the goals of completing on time and on budget, and with needed and expected functionality.
    • Ensure processes and procedures, including time and cost management, documentation and change management are followed.
    • Coordinate ongoing communication between team and management.
    • Design and collaborates with stakeholders to track metrics and key performance indicators for each project.
    • Develop and coaches internal project team members to understand methodologies, project requirements, timeline, etc. through clear and consistent communication.
    • Manage relationships with business partners and sponsors to help them understand business cases and to foster a culture of continuous improvement across the enterprise.
    • Identify, design, plan, implement, validate and sustain new technology investments and material handling equipment appropriate to optimizing network of warehouses and support business growth.
    • Identify, plan, and execute process efficiency opportunities throughout the organization, including simplification, standardization, implementation and sustainability.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering or a related field (or foreign degree equivalent).
    • 5 years of relevant experience.
    • 5 years of project management, process management, business process improvement, or value stream mapping experience.
    • 5 years of experience in project management standard concepts, best practices and procedures with experience planning and delivering on projects.
    • 5 years of experience with project management/planning software MS Project, and Smartsheet.
    • 5 years of experience managing a portfolio of projects simultaneously.
    • 5 years of experience in retail or supply chain operations.
    • Position requires domestic travel up to 25% of the time to other BRS warehouses, including locations in OH, TX, MI, KY, NV, PA & IL, in order to support project implementations across the warehouse network.

    The salary for this role is $140,760.
