Who are we looking for?
GHD has an opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our Environmental Assessment and Remediation Group. The Project Manager leads day-to-day planning and execution for assigned projects, using standardized PMO tools and repeatable workflows. The role coordinates teams, manages scope/schedule/cost controls, and prepares compliant deliverables for verification and approval.
Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
Initiate and plan projects using disciplined project management practices (scope confirmation, WBS, schedule, risk planning, onboarding).
Manage execution and controls: track progress, issues, changes, and dependencies; maintain project records in the project workspace for traceability.
Coordinate communications and reporting cadence; maintain deadline control for regulatory and client reporting obligations.
Manage vendors and subcontractors under defined procedures; ensure work plans and outputs follow required verification pathways.
Support digital field data collection and standardized reporting workflows; contribute to dashboards and evidence packs used for program and project visibility.
Prepare deliverables and ensure they are ready for check/review and director approval prior to external use.
Escalate risks and deviations early using leading indicators and agreed thresholds to support 'no surprises' delivery.
Close out projects with complete documentation, lessons learned, and handoff as required

Salary Range: $84,000- $140,000 based on experience and location.
