Job Title: Sr. Project Manager
Location: Urbandale – Iowa
Duration: 6 Months
Work Model: Hybrid (Onsite Monday–Wednesday, Flexible)

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support a large-scale Finance transformation program. Reporting to the Project Lead, you will manage multiple workstreams within a complex program, ensuring successful execution from planning through completion. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and project governance experience while driving initiatives across geographically distributed teams.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of leading enterprise-wide transformation projects involving people, process, technology, and operational change.
 
Key Responsibilities
Project & Program Management
  • Manage and support multiple project workstreams within a large transformation program.
  • Prioritize and oversee multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, implementation schedules, and migration plans.
  • Coordinate activities across cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Ensure project milestones, deliverables, timelines, and objectives are achieved.
Strategic Planning & Stakeholder Management
  • Develop strategic project documentation including:
    • Business Cases
    • Project Assessments
    • Communication Plans
    • Detailed Project Plans
  • Present project updates, status reports, and recommendations to senior Finance leadership.
  • Drive decision-making by facilitating discussions and resolving project challenges.
  • Communicate project priorities, progress, risks, and dependencies across business functions.
Risk Management & Governance
  • Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Escalate risks and business impacts to leadership when necessary.
  • Manage mitigation plans and ensure project controls are followed.
  • Ensure compliance with governance standards and change management processes.
  • Monitor project deliverables and ensure alignment across functions.
 
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience.
  • Proven experience managing enterprise-level transformation initiatives.
  • Strong experience managing multiple concurrent projects and workstreams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience developing business cases, project plans, and communication strategies.
 
Preferred Experience
  • Finance transformation or operating model implementation experience.
  • Experience supporting large-scale organizational change initiatives.
  • Knowledge of project governance, risk management, and change control processes.
  • Experience working in complex enterprise environments.
