Responsibilities

  • Prepare work plans, schedules, and budgets for department approval
  • Manage client relationships and contribute to business development
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure client satisfaction and productivity
  • Oversee quality control for water and wastewater design projects
  • Supervise project work and productivity
  • Achieve targets for profit, productivity, and deliverable schedules
  • Develop and execute engineering methods for water and wastewater designs
  • Collaborate with consultants, agencies, communities, and contractors on project planning and permitting
  • Prepare engineering calculations, plans, specifications, technical papers, and permit applications
  • Lead planning and design of water supply, transmission, and distribution projects
  • Create and review conceptual drawings and construction documents
  • Conduct studies and prepare designs and contract documents for water infrastructure projects
  • Review utility connection applications for municipal and utility clients
  • Act as Client Manager when needed, managing client duties and developing new business
