Title - Senior Project/Release Manager
Duration - 6 months
Location - Charlotte, NC 


Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Project/Release Manager to lead strategic initiatives and quarterly releases for Commercial Card and Digital Payment products. The role involves managing cross-functional teams, coordinating product and technology releases, driving Agile delivery, and partnering with Product, Technology, Operations, and external payment partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end project and release execution.
  • Coordinate quarterly product and technology releases.
  • Create and maintain project plans, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and Scrum of Scrums.
  • Ensure Jira governance, backlog management, and release readiness.
  • Partner with Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and vendors.
  • Communicate project status and resolve risks/issues.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Project, Program, or Release Management experience.
  • Experience with Commercial Cards, Digital Payments, Virtual Cards, or Expense Management.
  • Strong project planning, release management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum and tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.
  • Strong business analysis, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Wells One Expense Manager (WOEM) or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of Visa Commercial Payment products and release processes.
  • Experience in a large financial institution.
  • PMP, CSM, or SAFe certification is a plus.
