Job Title: Senior Project Scheduler
Location: Wheatfield, IN 46392
Work Authorization: Must be able to work on W2.
Valid Driver's License required.

Position Summary
The Senior Project Scheduler is responsible for directing and managing project scheduling activities in accordance with industry standards, project management guidelines, and best practices. This role supports project planning, schedule development, schedule analysis, forecasting, risk management, contract performance assessment, and project controls activities to improve project performance and predictability.

The successful candidate will possess strong expertise in Primavera P6 scheduling software, integrated project controls, risk management, quality management, and schedule forecasting within construction, engineering, or large industrial capital project environments.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:
  • High School Diploma and four (4) years of experience working as a Project Scheduler; OR
  • High School Diploma and six (6) years of construction or engineering experience, including two (2) years working as a Project Scheduler; OR
  • Bachelor's Degree and four (4) years of experience working as a Project Scheduler.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree and four (4) years of experience as a Project Scheduler.
  • Experience in large industrial capital project environments.
  • Advanced ability to plan, schedule, assess, analyze, and progress project schedules.
  • Experience developing schedule hierarchies and managing schedule databases.
  • Ability to read and interpret project schedules.
  • Strong proficiency with schedule software and database development.
Required Skills
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software.
  • Integrated knowledge of project scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality management.
  • Understanding and application of project management standards, processes, guidelines, and tools.
  • Proficiency in risk and quality management tools and techniques.
  • Strong project planning and scheduling capabilities.
  • Advanced spreadsheet development and utilization skills.
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, team-building, and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Ability to apply innovation, critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving techniques.
Key Responsibilities
  • Increase proficiency in schedule development, schedule analysis, and integrated cost and schedule forecasting using quantitative risk management tools and techniques.
  • Develop qualitative and risk-managed integrated project baselines to measure project performance and support corrective, preventive, and predictive actions.
  • Apply integrated objective risk management techniques to optimize project risk responses.
  • Conduct contract performance assessments, schedule analysis, reporting, forecasting, and change management activities.
  • Perform contract reviews related to scope and schedule performance and provide recommendations to project leadership.
  • Apply project controls expertise to improve project performance.
  • Review and coordinate the utilization of project management standards, processes, guidelines, job aids, and tools.
  • Integrate project management systems to improve project outcomes.
  • Direct scheduling efforts and tailor schedule management processes to project needs.
  • Develop and enhance schedule management tools and techniques to improve schedule performance.
  • Provide continuous lifecycle planning and scheduling processes supported by progressive risk management forecasting.
  • Manage project schedule performance baselines and integrated project baselines.
  • Forecast schedule performance and schedule variance and identify opportunities to avoid negative variances.
  • Drive schedule assessment and analysis activities and integrate quality and risk response planning into project schedules.
  • Implement predictive and opportunity-based scheduling actions.
  • Generate standard, advanced, and special project schedule reports for project stakeholders.
  • Promote integration of people, processes, tools, and techniques to improve project success.
  • Support product lifecycle costing initiatives.
  • Serve as a scheduling subject matter expert for project teams and stakeholders.
  • Apply integrated thinking and communication skills to facilitate effective project schedule decision-making.
  • Manage scheduling activities in accordance with industry standards, project management guidelines, and best practices.
