Description:
Immediate opportunity for a Project Superintendent to perform day-to-day on-site supervision of the field labor force. Duties will include site inspection, coordination and monitoring cost.
Responsibilities:- Daily on-site supervision of the field labor force.
- Inspection of the contractor operations.
- Maintain a good working relationship with all the trades.
- Develop and maintain a site logistics plan.
- Coordinate with the Project Managers.
- Coordinate site testing and inspection efforts.
- Monitor costs including labor time.
- Enforce safety and health management plan.
- Manage schedules.
- Prepare and submit daily reports.
- Attend and participate in project meetings.
Job Requirements:- 10+ years or more supervising infrastructure, rail, or heavy construction projects.
- 4-year engineering degree.
- MUST be safety oriented – OSHA 30 certified.
- Previous agency experience – NYC projects.
- Familiar with terms and conditions of contracts and purchase orders.
- Strong abilities to read drawings and specifications.
- Computer knowledge (MS Office)
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
