Senior Property Accountant

Boston, MA (Hybrid - 2 Days In Office)Salary: $90,000 - $105,000

CFS is partnering with a leading commercial real estate organization seeking a Senior Property Accountant to support a portfolio of commercial properties in the Greater Boston area.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who has a strong foundation in commercial real estate accounting and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly financial statements for commercial property portfolios
Perform account reconciliations and month-end close activities
Manage accruals, prepaid expenses, and general ledger activity
Assist with annual budgets and reforecasts
Support CAM reconciliations and tenant-related accounting
Coordinate with property managers regarding financial performance
Assist with audit requests and year-end reporting

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of commercial real estate accounting experience
Experience with MRI or Yardi required
Strong understanding of property accounting principles and financial reporting
Advanced Excel skills
Ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines simultaneously
Strong analytical and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $90,000 - $105,000
Hybrid schedule: 2 days in office
