THE ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to lead the treasury and property-level financial operations for a major regional developer. This position is the "engine room" of our portfolio’s financial accuracy, requiring a professional who excels at managing high-volume transactions across a complex, multi-entity structure. You will bridge the gap between daily banking activity and high-level financial reporting. Job Details

CORE FUNCTIONS

  • Direct the movement of funds across a diverse portfolio, managing daily liquidity, ACH/wire workflows, and intercompany transfers while maintaining strict anti-fraud controls.
  • Complex Reconciliations: Take full ownership of high-volume bank and balance sheet reconciliations (including security deposits and clearing accounts), ensuring all discrepancies are investigated and resolved before the close.
  • The Close & Reporting: Facilitate the month-end process by managing accruals, journal entries, and the close calendar. You’ll also provide the "story" behind the numbers through detailed P&L variance analysis (Actual vs. Budget).
  • Operational Partnership: Act as the primary financial liaison for on-site property managers and the corporate operations team to ensure site-level data integrity.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience: 3–6+ years in a Senior Accounting role, ideally within Property Management or Real Estate.
  • Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required. CPA or CPA candidate status is a significant advantage.
  • Software: Must be comfortable navigating ERP systems (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, or MRI) and possess advanced Excel skills for complex data analysis.
  • Mindset: A high degree of organizational skill and the ability to manage a large volume of bank accounts without losing sight of the details.
