Description

Seeking a Senior Property Accountant to manage the financial reporting and accounting for a portfolio of commercial real estate assets. This role is responsible for month-end close, reconciliations, financial analysis, budgeting support, and cash management while partnering with property management and operations.ResponsibilitiesManage month-end close, journal entries, and general ledger activity.Prepare bank reconciliations, accruals, prepaid schedules, and fixed asset accounting.Maintain financial reporting packages and variance analyses.Track capital projects, cash activity, and construction-related costs.Assist with budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reporting.Prepare audit schedules and lender/ownership reporting.Review lease-related billings and expense recoveries.Partner with property management to resolve accounting issues.Support process improvements and mentor junior team members.QualificationsBachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.3-5 years of property or real estate accounting experience.Experience with ERP/property accounting systems (Yardi, MRI, or similar preferred).Strong Excel skills and understanding of GAAP.Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.Compensation: $100,000-110,000Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.#J-18808-Ljbffr
