Role: Senior Property Accountant
Duration: Direct Hire
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85018
Setting: On-site
Pay: $80K - $90K
Bonus: Eligible based on individual performance 


Join a fast-growing real estate team supporting a portfolio of Class A multifamily properties. This role offers strong exposure to full-cycle property accounting in a dynamic, evolving environment where you can help shape processes and drive improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle property accounting for a multi-property portfolio
  • Perform month-end close (A/R, GL, journal entries, reconciliations)
  • Prepare financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintain rent rolls and vacancy reporting
  • Reconcile bank activity (daily/weekly/monthly)
  • Review leases, move-ins/move-outs, and security deposit accounting
  • Assist with budgeting and year-end audit support
  • Partner closely with property managers and internal teams

What You Bring
  • 4+ years of accounting experience (property accounting a plus)
  • Strong understanding of GL, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Degree not required; will consider experience or property background
  • Advanced Excel skills and accounting systems experience
  • Yardi experience a plus
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, personable approach
