    Description

    Overview A growing real estate organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to support its accounting function. This role focuses on financial reporting, close processes, and loan administration across multiple entities. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting skills, advanced Excel capabilities, and Yardi proficiency. This is an on-site position that works closely with senior accounting leadership to support day-to-day financial operations and reporting accuracy.Responsibilities Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for multiple entitiesPrepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reportsPerform variance analysis and provide financial insights to support internal reportingMaintain loan schedules, track debt service payments, and support covenant compliance reportingPartner cross-functionally to support operational and financial workflowsMaintain accurate system data, including leases, billings, recoveries, and management feesAssist with accounting for major transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions, and refinancingsPrepare schedules and documentation to support audits and tax filingsSupport the maintenance of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsMinimum Qualifications 5 years of prior commercial real estate or property accounting experienceAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills (including pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling)Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in AccountingStrong understanding of financial reporting and loan accountingExperience supporting a multi-entity portfolioPrior experience working closely with senior accounting leadershipExposure to audit support, lender reporting, or tax preparationExperience in a fast-paced or growth-oriented environmentAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively within a teamSalary Range: $90,000 - $105,000**The above represents the lowest to highest expected salary range for this job opening upon hire.
