Our client, a well-established and growing real estate development and property management firm based in White Plains, NY, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This company manages a diverse portfolio of residential properties across the New York metro area and takes pride in maintaining high-quality, sustainable communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, account reconciliations, and journal entries
• 
  
• Oversee general ledger activity and ensure accuracy across multiple entities and properties
• 
  
• Analyze financial results and variances to budget; provide insights to leadership
• 
  
• Manage property-level accounting using Yardi software
• 
  
• Assist with audit preparation and annual reporting requirements
• 
  
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
• 
  
• Develop and maintain Excel-based financial reports and tracking tools
• 
  

Qualifications:

• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• 
  
• 4+ years of accounting experience, ideally within real estate, property management, or construction
• 
  
• Proficiency with Yardi Voyager or Yardi Breeze required
• 
  
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis)
• 
  
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• 
  
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
• 
  
• CPA or progress toward CPA a plus
•
